The Role
- Drive new business acquisition across multiple business sectors including but not limited to, agricultural, manufacturing, food production and commercial property sectors.
- Develop and grow existing client accounts through structured upselling and cross-selling of consultancy services.
- Maintain a balanced pipeline of marketing-generated leads and self-sourced opportunities.
- Undertake proactive outbound prospecting (approximately 50% of activity).
- Deliver consultative discussions around compliance and technical advisory services.
- Prepare tailored proposals and commercial documentation.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting and reporting.
- Conduct client site visits where appropriate.
- Achieve quarterly revenue targets through both acquisition and retention activity.
Success
- Completion of a comprehensive induction program.
- Pipeline established early and revenue targets achieved by the end of month three.
- Consistent monthly performance across new business and account growth.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in B2B sales with exposure to new business and consultative sales.
- Confidence generating opportunities through outbound activity.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and develop long-term client relationships.
- Comfortable selling consultancy-led or technical service-based solutions.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability.
- Experience managing pipelines and activity through a CRM system.
- Energy sector experience essential.
- Highly organised, resilient and target-driven.
