Boat Builder

Mane are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Laminator / Boat Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the construction, repair, and finishing of high-quality composite and fiberglass boats. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of boat building and lamination processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay-up and laminate composite components using hand lay-up and vacuum infusion techniques

• Prepare molds and surfaces prior to lamination

• Repair and modify fiberglass hulls, decks, and structures

• Assemble boat components including bulkheads, stringers, transoms, and decks

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and build plans

• Trim, sand, and finish laminated parts to required specifications

• Mix and apply resins, gel coats, and adhesives accurately and safely

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience in marine lamination or boat building

• Strong knowledge of composite materials (e.g. fiberglass, carbon fibre, resins)

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

• Comfortable using hand and power tools

• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Understanding of health & safety in a workshop environment

• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces

• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

• B2 German speaking
