Key Responsibilities:
For the Original Equipment (OE) Team:

  • Assembly and test of flight-critical actuators and sub components with high precision and accuracy.
  • Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect component parts.


For the Global Sustainment (GS) Team:

  • Fault finding and diagnostics of flight-critical actuators.
  • Compiling survey reports.
  • Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect component parts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
  • Completing quality audits and taking responsibility for various aspects of the A&T process, including the release to service of repaired actuators.


Key Skills:

  • Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification) ideally within Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience within an engineering/manufacturing role is essential, ideally within aerospace or related industries.
  • Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing.
  • Competent in reading and following different set procedures.
  • Experience working within an aerospace quality system is desirable.
  • Dynamic and proactive attitude.
