Team Leader

MANE are currently recruiting for a Team Leader for our Aerospace client based in Bedfordsshire.

Role Overview

The Production Leader will coordinate the daily activities and help set priorities for the production team, in line with company policies and safety procedures. They will manage production using best practice to ensure effective and efficient production flow to support business KPI's.



Role Specifications

Skills:

* Experience in production support, leading a team of staff members
* Ability to schedule, set priorities for the team and direct technical efforts to meet targets
* Excellent organisational skills to drive productivity action plans while delivering OTD
* Strong leadership and effective interpersonal skills
* Ability to set SMART objectives that drive accountability and ownership
* Skilled problem solver to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems
* Effective oral and written communication and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Windows software applications

Education:

Post-Secondary degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectation.


Supplementary roles:

The nature of operations is such that on occasions, all employees are expected to tackle short term assignments, appropriate to their abilities. In this job, these are most likely to involve such tasks as working in another section at times of heavy workload or helping out where there is a shortage of labour due to absence.


Shift Pattern:

4 day week running Monday to Thursday 06.00 - 15.45 or 07.00 - 16.45
Occasional Late Shift rotation may be required Monday to Thursday 15.45 - 01.30 (premium applied)
