Quality Inspector

MANE are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our Aerospace client based in Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test products to ensure they meet quality and functional standards using tools like micrometres, callipers, gauges, and electronic inspection equipment.
• Measure and analyse Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) outputs (Laser Tracker).
• Assess incoming products and determine repair needs.
• Complete internal and customer documentation, including FAIR reports (experience essential).
• Participate in root cause analysis to address quality issues.
• Support product development and manufacturing inspection processes.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in quality inspection, ideally in regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, or medical.
• Strong understanding of quality engineering processes and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical and systematic problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator, able to explain technical information clearly.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
