Salary: Up to £58,000, depending on experience
Working Pattern: Hybrid - typically 3 days on-site per week due to project requirements
Security Clearance: Must be a British Citizen or a Dual UK National with British citizenship.

The Opportunity:
Navigation sensors are key to next-generation defence systems, and this team works on high-profile, fast-paced programmes with international collaboration. You'll work on the specification, evaluation, and research of technologies such as:
GNSS receivers and multi-constellation systems
Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs)
Anti-jam units and Controlled Reception Pattern Antennas (CRPAs)
You'll also:
Monitor supplier developments and tech roadmaps
Support trials and performance assessments
Contribute to international research and development programmes

What We're Looking For:
A degree-qualified engineer or physicist (electronics, physics or similar)
Experience in defence, aerospace, or a related sector
Strong knowledge of navigation, avionics, or RF engineering
Desirable: Project delivery or commercial exposure
Useful: Modelling skills in MATLAB and/or Simulink
Additional Knowledge (Desirable):
GNSS systems, multi-constellation functionality, and integration
Receivers, anti-jam technologies, and CRPAs
GNSS system chain performance challenges
Jamming/spoofing detection and mitigation
Inertial sensor performance and specification
