Role Overview
The Stores Coordinator supports the Stores Manager with coordinating activities relating to the receiving, storage, maintenance, and kitting of goods received.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week.
Core Responsibilities
* Acceptance of goods at point of receipt ensuring parts are adequately packed / protected and stores on allocated racking. Some heavy lifting will be involved.
* Create ERP generated goods in notes, print out labels and scan receiving paperwork as required. Identify any need for inspection and locate relevant goods in inspection rack.
* Verification of number of pieces received including visual damage.
* Verifying accuracy of delivery note and goods against purchase order requirements, including serial numbers.
* Picking of parts from stores locations for production orders in line with kit list.
* Allocating of picked parts directly against the production order using the ERP system.
* Safe storage and transportation of kitted parts to the shop floor.
* Maintain all stores records and ensure files are kept up to date to meet company requirements.
* Maintenance of existing stock through regular cycle counts and annual wall-to-wall stock take
* Maintain open communication with internal customers on all activities relating to goods inwards, stores and kitting.
* Participating in internal audits
* With supervision from Stores Manager, identify, though use of ERP system, daily kitting requirements. Raise, issue and print shop floor data packs.
* Offloading and loading of heavy goods using Forklift Truck.
* Occasional support required to deliver and collect product from local suppliers.
* Any other reasonable duties assigned by the Stores Manager.

Required:
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise with changing situations.
* Good attention to detail.
* Good computer skills required.
* Good communication skills.
* Able to work with other business functions/departments.
Desirable:
* Experience working in the aerospace/manufacturing industry.
* Forklift Truck Licence
