The Role

As a Senior Network Engineer within our Technology Solutions division, you'll join a multicultural team of skilled and enthusiastic telecommunication specialists. Together, you'll help design and deliver critical communication systems for the offshore energy sector. Your contributions will play a key part in shaping a more resilient and connected energy infrastructure worldwide.

The position is full-time and based at our global headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark. Some travel is expected-approximately 10 days per year.

Key Responsibilities

You will engineer robust and secure network solutions integrated with various telecom and operational systems. Each project is unique, offering the chance to create custom-built systems for offshore and energy-sector environments.

Your main tasks will include:

• Designing and implementing telecommunication solutions, with a focus on networking (including TETRA, Line-of-Sight radios, etc.)

• Participating in or leading Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design phases.

• Creating detailed design specifications for network systems.

• Designing interfaces between the network and other systems.

• Verifying configurations and equipment for Factory Acceptance Tests.

• Making minor configuration changes as needed.

• Reviewing and coordinating subcontractor designs to ensure compliance and integration.

• Collaborating with subcontractors, customers, and internal teams (e.g., Telecom Service and Tender teams).

Your Profile

You're a structured, detail-oriented engineer with a proactive mindset. You enjoy variety and thrive in a collaborative, team-driven environment.

We expect you to have:

• 5+ years of experience in network configuration and design.

• Solid understanding of physical and logical network architectures.

• Knowledge of OT-security standards (e.g., Purdue model, IEC 62443).

• A degree in electronics, telecommunications, network engineering, or a related field.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Experience within the offshore energy sector is preferred.

• Broad telecoms experience is an advantage.

• Strong technical writing and analytical skills.

• A project-focused approach.
