Lead the Performance. Drive the Strategy. Coach for Victory.
We're looking for a Race Engineer to join a high-level motorsport team competing at the sharp edge of performance and precision.
In this trackside and technical role, you'll take full responsibility for the engineering performance of a single-seater race car and its driver. From pre-event preparation to post-race analysis, you'll be the key link between driver feedback, data insights, and real-time decision-making. This is a rare opportunity to influence race outcomes with your technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and coaching ability.
🧩 Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Creating and managing pre-event setup sheets, data workbooks, and run plans.
Defining the baseline car setup and tuning it across test and race sessions.
Developing and executing race strategies, including fuel calculations, tire pressure management, and pit decision-making.
Leading driver coaching sessions - translating data and feedback into actionable improvements.
Overseeing data acquisition and performance analysis using professional motorsport telemetry tools.
Drafting technical reports after each event to document development, insights, and setup evolution.
Ensuring full compliance with the technical and sporting regulations of the series.
Assisting with garage setup, truck loading/unloading, and ensuring equipment and data systems are clean, organized, and functional.
🎯 What You'll Bring to the Team
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a motorsport engineering role, ideally with single-seater categories.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Race car setup (suspension, ride height, aerodynamics, alignment)
Telemetry and data systems (e.g., Wintax, MATLAB)
Strategy and planning during race weekends
Proven ability in driver development and coaching.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural team environment.
A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Motorsport or Automotive Engineering (Project Management experience is a plus).
Strong working knowledge of MS Office; experience with advanced data tools is an asset.
Full EU/Swiss work and travel eligibility (passport or visa).
