QHSE Manager - Fleet (Europe)

Madrid, Frankfurt, or Cyprus


(Includes 50% travel; tax relief available in Spain for first-time workers)


Overview:


We are seeking a hands-on QHSE Manager with a strong technical background in Ground Support Equipment (GSE), heavy vehicles, or automotive industries. This regional position is ideal for a pragmatic professional with a proactive approach to quality, health, safety, and environmental practices within workshop and fleet operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead GSE risk assessments and ensure all safety measures are implemented effectively in fleet operations.

  • Audit workshops, spare parts operations, and vehicle fleets to ensure alignment with QHSE standards and legal compliance.

  • Conduct and oversee internal and supplier audits (TechEval), supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate safety and quality KPI tracking, incident investigations, and environmental compliance across sites.

  • Support documentation and regulatory adherence related to ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, and ISAGO.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain compliance and drive operational excellence.

Reporting Line:


  • Reports to: Regional Head of QHSE

  • Dotted line to: Regional Head of Fleet

  • No direct reports

Candidate Requirements:


  • EU passport holder (No relocation support available)

  • Solid background in GSE, heavy equipment, or automotive maintenance environments

  • 3-5+ years in a QHSE or technical audit role, preferably across multiple sites

  • Familiar with ISO management systems and country-specific HSE regulations

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive best practices

  • Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus

  • Comfortable with 50% travel across European regions
