We're currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing teams and drive performance across the shop floor. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to senior leadership, where you'll be instrumental in optimising operational delivery, developing people, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing day-to-day production operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are consistently met.

  • Collaborating with departments across Planning, Quality, Engineering, and HSE to maintain seamless workflow and output.

  • Driving efficiency through structured daily management processes and regular team engagement.

  • Coaching and mentoring team leaders to build capability, address employee relations matters, and enhance team culture.

  • Partnering with Planning to ensure production capacity and resources are aligned to schedule using ERP systems.

  • Leading operational improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis, daily performance reviews, and root-cause problem-solving.

  • Supporting implementation of process and system upgrades to improve lead times, output, and customer satisfaction.

  • Creating and maintaining a skilled, adaptable, and engaged workforce focused on high standards and accountability.

  • Acting as a role model for health & safety, professionalism, and our core values.


About You:

  • A proven production or operations leader with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

  • Strong communicator and influencer, able to engage and energise teams at all levels.

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.

  • Confident handling performance and employee relations matters with support from HR.

  • Comfortable working with ERP systems (e.g. Epicor) and leveraging data to inform decisions.

  • Well-versed in Lean principles with a track record of delivering measurable improvements.

  • Technically minded - preferably from an engineering or technical manufacturing background.

  • Able to manage priorities in a dynamic environment and support change management initiatives.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar management role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of production systems, continuous improvement tools, and team leadership development.
