No.1 Race Mechanic - Motorsport Team

Be the Backbone of Performance, Precision, and Speed

Do you thrive in high-pressure environments where every detail matters and every decision impacts the podium? Join a fast-paced, professional motorsport team as a No.1 Race Mechanic, where your skills will directly influence race-day success.

In this hands-on, high-responsibility role, you'll take full ownership of a single-seater race car - managing preparation, reliability, and performance throughout the racing calendar. You'll lead from the front, mentoring a 2nd mechanic while working closely with engineers and the chief mechanic to deliver elite-level results.

🧩 What You'll Do

  • Own the build, setup, and race-readiness of your allocated race car - from strip-downs to final tweaks before lights out.

  • Supervise and develop a 2nd mechanic, ensuring teamwork, precision, and efficiency at every event.

  • Execute car setups based on engineering input and provide feedback to improve performance.

  • Maintain flawless car functionality - you are the guardian of reliability and safety on track.

  • Organize and execute grid operations: pit tools, on-grid checks, and last-minute performance adjustments.

  • Ensure full compliance with technical regulations - because detail wins races.

  • Take pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and professional work environment both at the workshop and trackside.

  • Contribute to the team setup at events, including truck loading/unloading and paddock garage setup.

🔧 What You Bring

  • 3+ years of professional motorsport mechanic experience, ideally in high-level single-seaters.

  • Deep experience with race car prep, gearbox rebuilds (e.g., Sadev), electrical diagnostics, and mechanical overhauls.

  • Leadership skills - confident supervising others and managing time-critical workflows.

  • Familiarity with motorsport data tools (e.g., Wintax) and composite repair is a plus.

  • Hands-on, detail-driven, and calm under pressure.

  • Fluent in English (other European languages a bonus).

  • Eligible to travel and work across Europe (EU/Swiss passport or valid work visa).

🎯 Why This Role?

This is a rare chance to embed yourself in the inner workings of a motorsport team competing at the sharp edge of performance. You won't just maintain the car - you'll lead its journey to the grid, race after race.
