An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading organisation in the UK and Ireland's Building Services sector. This company specialises in the design, development, and delivery of innovative and sustainable offsite-prefabricated building service solutions. High-quality prefabricated energy systems are manufactured in Northern Ireland and shipped to sites across the UK and Ireland, serving a broad range of commercial and public sector clients.
The company also provides comprehensive turnkey solutions, including the design, build, and operation of commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating systems. With a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, they are expanding their team to support continued growth and demand.


The Opportunity


As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within commercial, industrial, and public sector markets. You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with key decision-makers, promoting high-value technical solutions, and contributing to the company's strategic growth plans.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify, engage, and nurture new business opportunities across the UK & Ireland.

  • Promote offsite-prefabricated energy solutions to consultants, contractors, developers, and public bodies.

  • Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to develop tailored proposals and bids.

  • Attend client meetings, industry events, and presentations to represent the business and generate leads.

  • Maintain a robust pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close.

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the energy and building services sectors.

  • Contribute to commercial strategy, sales forecasts, and market development planning.

Skills & Experience Required


  • Proven track record in business development or technical sales, ideally within M&E, construction, energy, or prefabrication sectors.

  • Strong understanding of building services, energy centres, or district heating solutions is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to understand technical offerings and translate them into client-focused solutions.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously.

  • Willingness to travel as required across the UK and Ireland.
