This company specialises in the design, development, and delivery of innovative and sustainable offsite-prefabricated building service solutions. High-quality prefabricated energy systems are manufactured in Northern Ireland and shipped to sites across the UK and Ireland, serving a broad range of commercial and public sector clients.
The company also provides comprehensive turnkey solutions, including the design, build, and operation of commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating systems. With a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, they are expanding their team to support continued growth and demand.
The Opportunity
As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within commercial, industrial, and public sector markets. You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with key decision-makers, promoting high-value technical solutions, and contributing to the company's strategic growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and nurture new business opportunities across the UK & Ireland.
Promote offsite-prefabricated energy solutions to consultants, contractors, developers, and public bodies.
Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to develop tailored proposals and bids.
Attend client meetings, industry events, and presentations to represent the business and generate leads.
Maintain a robust pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close.
Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the energy and building services sectors.
Contribute to commercial strategy, sales forecasts, and market development planning.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven track record in business development or technical sales, ideally within M&E, construction, energy, or prefabrication sectors.
Strong understanding of building services, energy centres, or district heating solutions is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to understand technical offerings and translate them into client-focused solutions.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously.
Willingness to travel as required across the UK and Ireland.
