About the Role

We're currently recruiting for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join the Motions team at our site in Sunbury-on-Thames. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on assembly experience and a good eye for detail to become part of a professional, supportive, and growing business.

You'll be responsible for assembling high-quality fans and heaters, following engineering drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs), while maintaining a safe, organised work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble fans and heaters in line with technical drawings and SOPs
  • Operate hand tools, machinery, and measuring equipment
  • Carry out quality checks, testing, and inspections
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Maintain accurate production records and report any issues
  • Keep a clean, organised, and safe work area
  • Support continuous improvement and 5S activities
  • Assist with training and cover other departmental tasks when required

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on role
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems is an advantage
  • Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic IT skills
  • Experience with soldering or small component assembly would be a bonus
