Electrical Engineer

Project Location: Gävle, Sweden

Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Semi-Conductor is advantageous
Must hold an EU Passport

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers on detailed design development proposals.
• Review MEP designs and assess the feasibility of implementing alternative systems and methods.
• Analyse construction methodologies to identify programme implications and building logistics.
• Engage with the supply chain and prepare subcontractor packages.
• Review equipment specifications and compile procurement packages.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals, developing technical and commercial comparisons for selecting preferred bidders.
• Assess lifting and crane requirements and develop a crane strategy for the project.
• Review project logistics to determine temporary works necessary for construction and project management.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to address them.
• Contribute to various other aspects of the project and tendering process.

Qualification

• 5 - 7 years' experience working with a recognised Electrical contractor
• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Excellent organisational and project planning skills
• Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in use of Navisworks and Database systems related to Engineering functions
