Responsibilities:
- Supervise commissioning-related activities for all electrical vendors on site.
- Ensure adherence to defined scope of work and project specifications.
- Monitor the progress and delivery of vendor scope.
- Communicate commissioning deadlines and programme milestones to relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee and report on commissioning programme status and progress against targets.
- Supervise and potentially attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Functional Witness Tests (FWTs) for electrical vendors.
- Work with systems including UPS, switchgear, generators, MV installations, and BMS controls.
- Organise, attend, and contribute to daily and weekly commissioning meetings with internal teams and vendors.
- Prepare and maintain weekly vendor progress reports for submission to commissioning management.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) and project teams to ensure aligned objectives.
- Track and obtain approval for key commissioning documents including test scripts and compliance statements.
- Witness vendor commissioning activities and verify they are conducted in line with approved documentation.
- Track the receipt, review, and compliance of commissioning documentation to support commissioning sign-off.
- Conduct tagging processes and maintain day-to-day commissioning operations on site.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a certified electrical trade (e.g., NVQ) with relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, or data centre construction environment.
- Commissioning experience on LV, MV, or HV systems
