Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all site commissioning activities from planning to close-out.
  • Manage commissioning and testing teams on-site.
  • Implement and control the commissioning tagging system.
  • Report commissioning progress internally and to the client.
  • Chair weekly and daily commissioning meetings.
  • Coordinate weekly updates with the General Contractor and client.
  • Develop and manage the commissioning schedule with planners.
  • Oversee "Lock Out - Tag Out" and Area Control Permit procedures.
  • Compile, review, and approve all commissioning documentation.
  • Align commissioning with other trades, consultants, and client requirements.
  • Track labour daily and manage commissioning resource allocation.
  • Support package cost control including labour, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
  • Supervise daily site commissioning operations.
  • Manage subcontractors' progress, staffing, and coordination.
  • Track and close out commissioning-related snags promptly.
  • Attend project, planning, and handover meetings.
  • Coordinate vendor activities and issue weekly lookahead and progress reports.
  • Maintain a commissioning photo diary and manage BIM 360 CDE.
  • Build strong relationships with client, vendors, and contractors.
  • Carry out additional duties related to commissioning as needed.



Qualification

  • Engineering degree or equivalent, with 5+ years in commissioning management on large industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in data centres.
  • Familiar with EU standards, building regs, and integrated systems testing (IST).
  • Experience producing and managing IST documentation digitally.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Effective team leader with delegation, time management, and organisational skills.
