A leading Engineering & Manufacturing company based in the South West of England is urgently recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Fitter on an ongoing contract basis.
As a Semi-Skilled Fitter, you will be required to carry out the following duties & tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Building & putting together machine sub-assemblies
- Supporting the skilled fitters with tasks within the shop floor
- Preparing work on the shop floor
- General duties as directed by the Production Supervisor
- Must be able to use various hand tools such as spanners, screw drivers, ratchet sets as well as electric power tools.
- Must have previous experience of working with an engineering manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to understand basic engineering drawings & instructions.
