Panel Wirer

Due to extensive growth within their business, our client is urgently recruiting for an experienced Panel Wirer to join their production team. The company based in Somerset.

As a Panel Wirer, you be building and wiring various types of control panels.
You will be working to engineering wiring drawings and schematics.
You will be doing point to point wiring, cable crimping and terminating work.

As a Panel Wirer, you will also be required to be mechanically minded as you will be required to build and assemble brackets and guards, drilling and general fitting work. The control panels are for big heavy works. Previous experience of working with medium and large control panels will be an advantage.
Previous experience of control panel wiring, working with MCB's, Contactors, Relays, Inverter Drives & PLC's is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Panel wiring & fitting
• Mechanical assembly of electrical switchgear
• Electrical wiring and looming
• Point to point wiring, cable crimping, looming and terminating work
• Panel fitting work, marking out, drilling & tapping
• Repair of electrical switchgear and panels
• Interesting and varied work
