Title: IT Change Analyst
Location: Helensburgh
Salary: Up to £65k
Join our dynamic team as an IT Change Analyst, based in Faslane, Helensburgh. Enjoy the flexibility of our innovative 4xFlex working pattern, featuring a condensed 4-day workweek (Monday to Thursday) and the option for hybrid working, typically spending 2 days onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimise Change Control Processes: Streamline and enhance our Change Control procedures for maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate on ITIL4 Practices: Work with customers to improve processes in alignment with ITIL4 standards.
- Client Reporting and Presentations: Deliver concise progress reports and compelling presentations to clients.
- SIEM Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), providing recommendations for product enhancements.
- Incident Analysis and Escalation: Conduct thorough analysis of SIEM outputs, promptly identifying and escalating any incidents or breaches.
- Secure by Design Assurance: Provide assurance support to team members on Secure by Design principles.
- Technical Risk Communication: Translate technical risks into understandable formats for non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior team members to foster growth and development.
- Effective Communication: Engage effectively with clients and managers across all levels.
The successful candidate must achieve the appropriate level (SC) of security clearance.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Proven track record as an IT Change Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, or in a related role.
- Proficiency in implementing ITIL processes.
- Strong expertise in SIEM operations.
- Competence in Risk Management and NIST Cyber Security Controls.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with client-facing experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving priorities.
- Highly organised with a pragmatic approach, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable Skills:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Experience in Government/Ministry of Defence settings is advantageous.
