Electronic Design Engineering Team Leader
Location: Stevenage (Relocation package offered)
Work Arrangement: Flexible approach to onsite and remote working, typically 2-3 days a week on site
Salary: Up to £58,000 depending on experience

The Role:
Are you a skilled Lead Electronic Design Engineer with a passion for leadership and innovation? If so, we want to hear from you!
This is a fantastic opportunity to spearhead our electronic design projects and lead our clients and talented team in Stevenage. The team is responsible for circuit design, prototyping, testing, and integration/design proving of hardware needed for Launch Management systems, datalink and communications systems, as well as providing embedded computing resources for larger Command and Control systems.
As one of our Team Leaders, you will use your extensive and current electronic engineering experience to lead a team responsible for designing the electronic equipment required to safely, reliably, and efficiently integrate MBDA products into our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of electronic design engineers.
  • Oversee circuit design, prototyping, testing, and integration of hardware.
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient integration of MBDA products into platforms.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Drive innovation and challenge existing processes with fresh, new ideas.

What We're Looking for From You:

  • Significant experience in Electronic Design or Power Electronics.
  • Experience leading teams is desirable, but we also welcome passionate, committed emerging leaders looking to take their next steps.
  • Ideally degree-qualified with post-qualification experience in electronic design, development, and delivery.
  • A willingness to challenge the status quo and bring fresh, new ideas.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources to ensure on-time, on-cost delivery.
  • Experience leading significant electronic design packages.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with multiple stakeholders.

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to gain UK government security clearance. To achieve this, you must hold British or dual nationality.
