Barge Master

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Barge Master to join our dynamic team on a Jack Up Platform, The Barge Master will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the barge, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to maintain high standards of safety and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all barge operations, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with the marine crew to ensure effective and efficient vessel operations.
• Maintain all necessary logs and documentation.
• Conduct regular safety drills and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders as required.

Requirements:

• BOSIET (as per Company Requirement for a Jack Up Platform)
• Valid Offshore Medical
• International Passport
• SMB (Stability and Ballast Management)
• GWO SS with Boat Landing + Manual Handling
• GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System)
• Proven experience as a Barge Master or similar role in the offshore industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of marine operations and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
