Mane Energy are currently working with a booming Datacenter specialist in the Norway, who have seen rapid growth year on year.
They are currently looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join them on their growing construction of Data Centers in the Nordic Region
Key Responsibilities:
- Master Planning: Lead and contribute to the development of master plans for data center projects, considering site constraints, environmental factors, and client requirements.
- Site Due Diligence: Conduct thorough site assessments and due diligence to evaluate site suitability, constraints, and opportunities for landscape design integration.
- Landscape Design: Develop innovative and sustainable landscape designs tailored to data center projects, encompassing site layout, green infrastructure, planting design, and outdoor amenities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate landscape design seamlessly within the overall project framework.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards related to landscape architecture, environmental protection, and land use planning.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their vision, goals, and preferences, and translate them into actionable design solutions that exceed expectations.
- Project Management: Oversee landscape design projects from concept to completion, managing budgets, timelines, resources, and subcontractors effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of design quality, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout all project phases.
- Sustainability: Integrate sustainable design principles and practices into landscape architecture solutions, promoting environmental stewardship and resilience.
- Team Leadership: Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise to junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on data center and technology projects.
- Proven expertise in master planning, site due diligence, and landscape design within the context of large-scale developments.
- Strong understanding of Norwegian regulations, codes, and standards related to landscape architecture and land development (Norwegian license preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and independently when necessary.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and project management experience.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of landscape architecture and technology.
