Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electric Compressor Design Engineer to join our client's advanced R&D team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing electric compressors for EV cooling systems, contributing to the creation of next-generation passenger and commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electric compressors for EV cooling systems using CATIA for CAD tasks.
  • Perform simulations to evaluate and optimize compressor performance.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate compressor designs into future EV models.
  • Conduct testing and validation activities to ensure designs meet functional and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and insights throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and advancements in electric compressor design and EV cooling systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in electric compressor design, specifically for EV cooling systems in passenger or commercial vehicles.
  • Strong proficiency in CATIA for CAD tasks and experience with simulation tools.
  • Excellent understanding of EV cooling system requirements and integration challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent professional experience.
