Salary: Up to £75k

We're on the lookout for several skilled FPGA Design Engineers to join our team, focusing on diverse projects such as cutting-edge signal processing systems (Image/Radio), fundamental embedded processing systems, and crucial safety and security systems.

In this role, you'll be immersed in every stage of the FPGA design life cycle, starting from requirement analysis to ensuring a validated design. This presents an excellent chance for you to have a significant impact on the design process, champion the adoption of state-of-the-art technologies, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design teams. Additionally, you'll have access to the latest tools and technologies offered by leading FPGA vendors.

We are looking for:

  • Ideally, you possess a degree (or equivalent) and have hands-on experience in most of the following domains:
  • Creating intricate FPGA architectures and executing designs using VHDL, Simulink, etc., for Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi devices.
  • Competence in verifying complex FPGA implementations through VHDL and System Verilog/UVM test-bench techniques.
  • Expertise in FPGA design toolkits and Mentor verification tools (QuestaSim & ModelSim).
  • Proficient in developing low-level software (C) for FPGA testing and integration within embedded systems.
  • Capability to configure and document designs to meet high professional standards.
