Engine Design Engineer

We are seeking an Engine Design Engineer for a Formula 1 Power Unit Manufacturer.

Your tasks

• CAD construction of assemblies and systems as well as engine components.
• CAD modeling of components, drawing creation
• Planning the creation path of the assembly/component involving manufacturing and procurement
• BOM maintenance
• Creation of engine assembly lists
• Component support in engine assembly and disassembly
• Interpretation of calculation results and targeted implementation in construction stages

Your profile

• Technical studies in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive/motorsport technology or STEM subject
• In-depth knowledge of engine technology and manufacturing processes
• CAD knowledge: Ideally a proficient user of Catia or Creo coupled with several years of experience in motorsport engine design
• In-depth knowledge in the area of ​​materials and manufacturing technology (prototypes)
• Fluent in German or English skills as well as the willingness to learn basic knowledge of the other language are required
• Strong teamwork, organizational skills, and a high sense of responsibility
• Independent and precise way of working
