An excellent opportunity for a Electrical Engineer to work for a leading data centre partner.

You will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems to support the operation of data center facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, backup systems, and monitoring equipment. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering, with a focus on data center-specific requirements and best practices.

As a Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for the below;

  • Electrical Systems Design
  • Conduct electrical safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to best practices for electrical safety
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate electrical systems with overall building design and infrastructure.
  • Manage electrical engineering projects within data center facilities, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to operations and maintenance teams, troubleshooting complex electrical issues and implementing solutions to ensure continuous system availability.

As Electrical Engineer it is essential you have the below;

  • Relevant Electrical Qualification essential eg. Masters or Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • HNC/ HND qualifications are preferred
  • 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential
  • Data Centre experience is advantageous
  • Excellent organizational, communication and time management
  • Right to Work in the EU
