CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist required for an engineering & manufacturing company based in Berkshire. As a CNC Machinist, you will be machining various parts & components following engineering drawings & instructions. You will be working on various CNC & Manual machines.

You will mainly be working on the following machines:

CNC Mills: Doosan DNM 5700 (4 Axis)

Manual mills: Europa 6BVS

Manual lathes: Colchester Mastiff, Colchester Triumph

Key Responsibilities

• Configuring machines for assigned tasks.
• Able to Set and operate
• Executing machining operations as per specified requirements.
• Conducting necessary calculations for layout and machining, such as angles, milled slots, tapers, and bores.
• Inspecting work visually and using various precision measuring instruments, including comparators.

Key Skills and Experience

• Desirable: Completion of an apprenticeship, craft, or technical qualification. Alternatively, relevant specialised experience will be considered.
• Proficient in machine setup and operation.
• Competent using precision measuring tools.
