Salary: Up to £65,000 (dependent on experience)

The Opportunity
In this role, you'll:
- Lead task packages, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across the engineering directorate to deliver secure solutions on time and within budget.
- Manage trade-offs to maximise protective measures while maintaining product safety and customer capability.
- Develop and maintain a robust security case, collaborating with customers and technical advisors.
- Oversee the design coherence of hardware, software, and firmware, ensuring successful integration, testing, and qualification.
- Support manufacturing and through-life support teams to safeguard product confidentiality and integrity.
- Uphold the Need to Know principle, managing sensitive information release to suppliers and customers.
What We're Looking For
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Have experience in through-life missile/weapon system design and can manage trade-offs effectively.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with engineers, technical experts, and customers.
- Can evaluate and resolve complex issues while maintaining the organisation's reputation.
- Have strong engineering skills-a background in systems engineering, electronics design, embedded software, or firmware is advantageous.
- Are eligible for, or already hold, DV clearance.
