Supplier Development Manager

Up to £50,000 DOE

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a degree-level Supply Chain professional with international experience in technology companies.

  • Supplier Performance Improvement: Proven ability to enhance supplier performance in terms of delivery and quality using appropriate tools and lean methodologies.
  • Portfolio Management: Skilled in managing a portfolio of suppliers, monitoring their performance, and addressing supply chain risks.
  • Capability Assessment: Capable of assessing supply chain and supplier capabilities to meet current and future delivery profiles.
  • Process Proficiency: Proficient in creating and validating process flows, conducting lead time analysis, identifying capacity bottlenecks, and understanding yield, resources, and sub-tier mapping activities.
  • Problem-Solving Expertise: Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in techniques such as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) for root cause analysis and driving improvement plans within the supply chain.
  • Analytical Skills: Adept at conducting analysis and providing executive summaries to support decision-making.
  • Departmental Contributions: Able to contribute to departmental supply chain excellence initiatives.

Previous experience in supply chain management or as a Supplier Development Manager in the Aerospace, Defence, or Manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
