Project Location: Dublin, Ireland
Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor or Substation
Must hold either a EU Passport or Residency in Ireland
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of service and support to the Project Manager.
- Manage, mentor, and provide guidance to Planners and Junior team members as needed.
- Review contract documentation, identifying key scheduling and tracking requirements.
- Develop the construction schedule using the high-level target schedule and WBS provided by the Project Manager.
- Assist with client schedule negotiations.
- Populate the schedule with labour and metrics based on hours and quantities from the Commercial Team.
- Create necessary trackers and reporting templates.
- Collaborate with the Main Contractor and Project Manager to develop a fully integrated construction schedule.
- Measure and track weekly progress and efficiency, working closely with the Site Team, and formally validate with the Commercial Team every 2-3 weeks.
- Proactively identify potential risks and obstacles, keeping the project team and lead planner informed.
Qualification
- Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with proven ability to develop and implement plans, as well as monitor and manage project progress.
- Proficient in creating detailed project plans using design and commercial data.
- Skilled in coordinating and managing the development of plans across multiple projects.
- Competent in using planning software such as Microsoft Project or P6, along with Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent report-writing skills with a strong focus on clarity and detail.
