Location: Stevenage (or other locations with flexibility)

The Opportunity

As a Reliability Engineer, your role will focus on delivering robust reliability programs for complex systems. By understanding the system and its operational context, you'll ensure risks are mitigated and a comprehensive reliability case is presented.

You'll work across exciting projects that blend real-world challenges with opportunities for innovation, and you'll also have the chance to work internationally, contributing to a truly global engineering mission.


Your Role

  • Lead the delivery of Reliability Case Reports and supporting analyses (FMECA, reliability predictions, etc.).
  • Balance technical, time, and cost constraints to deliver efficient reliability solutions.
  • Apply innovative methodologies, such as FIDES, to address evolving industry challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability processes into system engineering lifecycles.
  • Mentor and support early-career engineers, shaping the future of reliability expertise.
  • Contribute to internally funded research packages and explore cutting-edge solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Knowledge of complex electronic systems and associated reliability challenges (other engineering backgrounds considered).
  • Experience delivering reliability planning, analysis, and testing during development.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the relationship between reliability lifecycles and system engineering processes.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across multi-disciplinary, international teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ideally, degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
