Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Germany
Hours: 35 - 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
MIG Welders required for a manufacturing company based in Germany. As a MIG Welder, you will be required to carry out the following tasks.

Due to the nature of the role, candidate must have strong German language skills.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Weld & assemble complex sub-assemblies
  • Welding and assembling of Aluminium structures
  • Must be able to prepare components independently (grinding, brushing, scribing, laying out, clamping, tacking), if necessary, prepare in compliance with production dimensions)
  • Set up welding equipment independently according to the work task, pay attention to distortion and stability and weld accordingly after consultation, plastering, dimensional control
  • Straightening procedures according to agreement with the welding torch or oxy-acetylene flame, preheating if necessary or monitoring temperature conditions also during and after welding
  • Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings & instructions
  • Must be able to change & replace worn out parts on welding equipment
  • Welders have to weld in difficult positions, partly in narrow receptacles & in confined spaces

Experience:

  • MIG Welding experience (ideally on heavy equipment)
  • Previous experience of working with Aluminium
  • Knowledge of metal processing, handling locksmith tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings
