HSE Consultant

Mane Energy are looking for HSE Advisor to work on long term contract with major turbine manufacturer in the UK.

Location: Redcar, UK

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Start: 26/08/2024

Duration: 2 years

Type of contract: Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily EHS Support: Provide continuous and comprehensive EHS support for project operations, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions for employees and contractors, emphasizing best practices in health and safety.
• Inspections and Audits: Perform routine inspections and audits of work sites to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards, ensuring adherence to EHS protocols.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers regarding EHS planning and job execution, addressing any concerns and providing detailed information to ensure collaborative safety efforts.
• First Line Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees , offering guidance and support as they navigate day-to-day EHS challenges in their service work.
• Incident Management: Respond promptly to any EHS incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and training sessions, and generate detailed reports for the Site EHS Lead and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Education
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within the renewable and construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, contractors, and customers.
• Certification in EHS management.
