Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support various programmes through all phases, from concept to disposal, ensuring robust EMC designs and accurate risk reduction strategies.
- Develop and maintain crucial project documentation, including EMC Control Plans, Proving Plans, and Instructions to support product development and qualification.
- Collaborate closely with the hardware design teams, potentially providing hands-on support for hardware reviews and informal testing.
- Play a vital role in reviewing, analyzing, and ensuring compliance with EMC requirements across a variety of cutting-edge defence projects.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- A background in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, EMC, or a related field, either through higher education or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the business.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet defined deadlines and work within budget limits.
- Desirable: Experience with military EMC standards such as Defence Standard 59-41 / 59-411, Mil-Std-461, or RTCA DO160 / EUROCAE ED-14 would be advantageous, though not essential.
