Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all electrical construction activities on-site to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, within scope and to the required quality standards
  • Act as the main point of contact between the site team and the project management team, ensuring clear communication of goals, progress, and issues
  • Supervise and manage subcontractors and direct labour involved in the electrical scope of work
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, company procedures, and project-specific protocols
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and construction schedules
  • Monitor and report on progress, risks, quality, and cost against project plans
  • Participate in daily coordination meetings and interface with other trades and disciplines on-site
  • Coordinate material deliveries and manage inventory to avoid delays
  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes
  • Identify and resolve issues or clashes during construction activities proactively


Qualification

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects, preferably within the data centre or mission-critical sector
  • Proven track record managing electrical packages with an M&E subcontractor
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems installation, commissioning, and industry best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality control procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Aconex, or similar) is an advantage
  • Willingness to work on-site full-time and travel if required
