Project Location: Groningen, Netherlands

Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Semi-Conductor

Must hold either a EU Passport or Residency in Netherlands

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing and supervising on-site personnel.
  • Lead by example, setting, monitoring, and upholding high standards of safety and exceptional work quality.
  • Take a leadership role on-site by managing daily activities and implementing safety plans and site rules.
  • Ensure all team members possess the necessary training and skills to perform their tasks safely and effectively.
  • Optimise on-site labour resources by planning workforce and material needs in advance, managing subcontractor hours, and ensuring efficiency.
  • Oversee subcontractor activities, tracking progress to align with project schedules.
  • Maintain open communication with subcontractors to address performance issues and foster positive working relationships.
  • Conduct performance management for supervisory staff and other team members under your responsibility, reporting and addressing incidents as needed.
  • Verify that materials meet project specifications before installation on-site.
  • Implement the project quality plan, ensuring all snag lists are promptly resolved.
  • Support project handover to the client and assist in closing out any remaining project items alongside the Project Manager.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed as outlined in the project scope, and obtain necessary approvals for any additional work or changes requested.

Qualification

  • Qualified in an electrical or related discipline, either through a trade or a degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction management role within the electrical contracting industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Prior experience working on data centre construction projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the design and construction process
