Health & Wellbeing

We believe that in order to achieve a safe, sustainable and ultimately successful organisation, a healthy and energetic workforce is vital. Mane are therefore committed to the health and wellbeing of all the people we place on site.

Mane actively supports and encourages our clients to continue to broaden the inclusivity and diverse nature of their workforce and the impact it has on health and wellbeing.

Many clients have aspirational targets to achieve when it comes to health and wellbeing.  We support these. It is our hope that over the next 5 years, we can work with our clients to reduce the proportion of workers troubled in the workplace, whilst increasing the number of workers reporting positive mental wellbeing.

We have created mental health champions. These people are trained to recognise and support the importance of mental health and wellbeing, providing the right opportunities and guidance to our workers so that anybody we put on site feels positive, has a sense of purpose and can handle the everyday pressures.

The mental health champions are embedded within our consultant teams.  We work closely with all the Safety, Health and Environment teams within our clients to ensure we promote and support great health and wellbeing.

We have a Mental Health Trainer who is able to provide traiing to site leadership.

Employee Assistance Program

All employees have access to our Employee Assistance Program. The EAP scheme forms part of our strategy on raising Mental Health Awareness in the workplace.  A freephone confidential support line accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Employees are able to speak to a caring professional counsellor, on matters affecting emotional well-being including relationships, bereavement, stress and anxiety. Thereafter there is an option for confidential consultation that provides face to face practical information and advice on issues ranging from parenting and work matters, through to debt management and healthy eating. There is also a range of resources to view online or download including articles, podcasts and toolkits covering a variety of topics such as financial well-being, resilience, mindfulness and much more.
