Site Manager

Mane Energy are working with a leading service provider who are looking for a Site Manager, to work on both on and offshore HVDC grid connection systems in German waters.

Rotation: 14/14

Location: Germany

Travel/Accommodation arranged by employer

Duties:

• You will act as the person responsible for work and the main contact for internal and external service staff
• Work and personnel responsibility of assigned service teams
• Planning, controlling and monitoring the work and quality of the implementation of maintenance, testing and repair measures for primary, secondary and auxiliary systems as well as the construction structure of the HVDC grid connection systems
• You will participate in customer campaign debriefings
• Coordination and monitoring of occupational safety (AES)
• Creation of documentation including certification documents and reports
• Participation in project meetings, including at the Hamburg location
• You will be required to regularly go offshore, overseeing day to day running of substations.

Person specification:

• Completed technical or nautical studies, preferably in the field of (offshore) engineering, electrical engineering, ship/process engineering or mechanical engineering
• Several years of professional experience in the maintenance and repair of relevant systems (primary systems, secondary systems, auxiliary systems and offshore structures)
• Several years of professional experience in managing interdisciplinary maintenance personnel and external companies
• Relevant knowledge of relevant class regulations, technical standards and legal testing requirements
• Good language skills (Level B1) in German and English
• Team spirit, leadership qualities and very good organizational skills

Certificates Required:

• HUET including CA-EBS
• Boat Landing & Crew Transfer (Can be included in GWO Sea Survival)
• GWO Sea Survival or BOSIET
• First aid
• Electrically trained person (EuP)
• Offshore Medical
