The Opportunity:

  • Play a key role in designing and delivering power electronics within actuation systems
  • Lead engineers responsible for circuit design, prototyping, testing and integration of hardware needed for motor control, feedback loops and general control system support
  • Work across all stages of the project life cycle, delivering a clear plan to meet project requirements
  • Work with a team of multi-experienced engineers involved in activities from early feasibility through to certification and supporting transition to production

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or relevant experience in Electronic Design, development and delivery.
  • Experience in power electronics, such as for motor control applications, would be an advantage along with a commitment to designing excellent solutions.
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team, with an awareness of the challenges and opportunities that this may bring and a passion for innovation and collaboration.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and planning skills.
