Export & Array Cable Project Engineer

Main responsibilities

Responsible for the engineering of the supply, jointing, and termination of export and array cables and connection equipment * Participate in project team meetings and cross-discipline cooperation (Interface Management)

* Ensure that the technical solution is fit for purpose

  • Ensure compliancy to technical requirements and internal/international standards
  • Ensure that project-specific requirements and interface agreements are adhered to * Overall responsible for QAS * Responsible for the NCR management * Responsible for technical inputs to Change Requests, Variation orders, and claims * Responsible for the ITP * Responsible for witnessing tests * Review Test Reports * Create project-specific DIT checklists (if applicable) * Comply with our client's guidelines and current standards, i.e., ISO9001, Way We Work (IMS) requirements, as well as good engineering practice and local requirements * Responsible for the revision of the Manufacturing Record Books * Responsible for the revision of the RAMS * Ensure that our client's QA/QC process is followed * Provide inputs to the project risk register related to the scope Main tasks

* Support interface management with technical know-how and alignment * Review Technical documentation from suppliers * Register NCR's and LL in Synergi according to specified method * Provide technical inputs to Change Requests, VO's, and Claims * Monitor cable and accessories manufacturing * Type, Routine, FAT and SAT Test Alignment and Witnessing * Review of ITPs, manufacturing processes, and technical procedures from Supplier and ensure verification and validation of product quality controls (QA/QC) * Review RAMS * Create checklists for Digital Inspection Tool (if applicable) * Review Manufacturing Record Book

Travel locations - UK, US, EU, Denmark, and locations to be confirmed by the project. Our client is not responsible for all working visa-related matters. The consultant shall ensure relevant visa is in place prior to the travel. Our client offers flexible workplace or working from home; however, the consultant must be available in the client's London office when required by the project team or by the line management. Travel/commuting expenses to the London office will not be compensated by our client. Travel expenses (e.g., flights and hotel) associated with the business travel to site, supplier factories, or supplier offices inside/outside the UK will be compensated. Travel expenses to our client's offices outside the UK (e.g., in Denmark) will also be compensated.
