We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Contract Composites Design Engineer to join their team for a 6-month, full-time, onsite contract in Europe. Role Summary: The Composites Design Engineer will be an integral part of the exterior engineering team, focusing on the design and development of composite bodywork and components for high-performance vehicle projects. Using CATIA CAD software, you will bring expertise and innovation to our design processes, contributing to the creation of products that offer superior performance and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop composite bodywork and components for high-performance vehicles and motorsport applications using CATIA CAD software.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet all technical and performance specifications.
  • Participate in the entire product lifecycle from concept through to prototype, testing, and final production.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative design methodologies and composite material utilization.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in composite design engineering, specifically with composite bodywork.
  • Proficient in the use of CATIA CAD software.
  • Background in motorsports or niche high-performance vehicle projects is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Right to work in Europe and ability to commit to a full-time, 6-month contract onsite at our facility.
  • Ready to start in April.
