Link-Up:
Link-up is the UK rail industry supplier qualification scheme, providing a single common registration, qualification and audit process for a supplier that is shared by the UK rail industry. It allows us the opportunity to connect to a network of potential buyers across a whole industry sector.
When just one pre-qualification questionnaire has been completed, and the data verified, our details can be viewed by every single buyer registered in that particular industry sector. We also have the opportunity of discovering more about industry standards and quality requirements which improves our service levels and enables us to have a better appreciation of what is required to match, and beat our competition.
ATA:
Mane Automotive is a proud supporter of IMI and ATA. For clients that have specific recruitment needs or projects where accredited technicians are required, Mane Automotive can provide ATA accredited Technicians. Candidates who are interested in becoming ATA Accredited should contact the Automotive Division on 01923 470 740 to discuss further.
The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) is the regulatory body for the UK’s first national voluntary accreditation scheme for vehicle technicians.
Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA), proves a technician’s competence, giving reassurance to customers and raising the status of the profession and the credibility of skilled individuals and their businesses.
CHAS:
Mane Contract Services is accredited within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) having demonstrated compliance with, and sound management of, current basic health and safety legislation.
This accreditation was achieved in 2009 and will be reviewed and re-accredited by CHAS on an annual basis.
Achilles Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB):
Mane Contract Services is fully registered as a supplier of Recruitment and Human Resources Services with the Achilles Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB).

Investors in People:
Mane achieved a Bronze Investors in People (IIP) award in December 2009.
The IIP Standard has been utilised by a wide variety of businesses and organisations since 1991 as a business improvement tool to improve their performance and to align their people with their objectives. The IIP Framework is based around 3 principles:
| PLAN |
develop strategies to improve performance |
| DO |
take action to improve performance |
| REVIEW |
evaluate and improve performance |
All companies who want to achieve the IIP Standard must fulfil the requirements of the Core Standard to gain recognition. Mane committed to gaining a higher standard and achieved the Bronze award by assessment against 65 requirements. We feel that we achieved this because we have good processes, good systems and most of all because we believe we have great people!
Mane intends to work towards Silver accreditation during 2010.
